Our therapy will begin by you contacting me via phone or email, to describe the current issues you would like to work through. From there, if we feel that this will be a good fit, we will schedule an initial assessment. This first session will be a chance for us to get to know each other, explore your current needs for therapy, and set therapeutic goals that you would like to achieve. After our initial assessment, we will focus our therapy sessions on meeting your specific goals. My primary clinical approach is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). CBT allows us to explore our thoughts and feelings and understand how that relationship impacts our daily lives. Changing our unhelpful thoughts or negative thinking patterns can help us to change the way we manage a wide range of issues in our daily lives, including depression, anxiety, and many other mental health diagnoses.
